Around here, we've all received some really sound advice over the years from the family elders. We can hear Jack now, saying, "Never touch the principal", and "You can't sell from an empty wagon", or the all-time favorite, "It's so quiet your can hear the overhead rise". Well before He comes back from vacation, we thought it best to head Him off at the pass. This new thing about "a deal and a meal" is sure to be met with: "Yeah, ok! Well, when can I pay full price?". So in anticipation, a full-priced night has been scheduled for later in the year. Also, a reminder that Jacks will be closed after Halloween (good night for a Boofet) this year. See you at Jacks!

Mothers Ate Free. Dad's Due Too.

BUBRISKIVILLE, MASS.-If you missed the 'Mother's Day Buffet Bonanza' (Moms ate for free!!) then you don't know Jacks! Myriad moms came to savor the annual grand opening all-day-buffet as Jacks' staff proudly served over two hundred moms, dads and off- spring in a heartfelt celebration of Motherhood.(Come to think of it alcoholic beverage sales were way up that day!) After some male-grousing for equal representation, Jacks will be marking Father's Day this year too!! So on June 20, haul Pa off the couch and bring him (and his wallet) down to Jacks for his free eats. Mom and the kids won't be gratis, but Dad won't mind paying-it may be his last chance to take the family out before the century changes. Remember, honor thy father in Housatonic this Father's Day!

Jumpin' Jack Flash! Calling all "Jacks!" You don't have to be a mom or a dad, just a Jack, to eat free during two Jacks Jambourees this season. On June 11 and September 10, we'll honor our namesakes with a free meal, great surroundings and lots of good people. (Now we won't require a birth certificate or any- thing, but we do hope only honest to goodness Jacks take us up on the offer.) And just in case the kids feel left out by all this generosity, keep Wednesdays in mind. That's Family Night at Jacks, when children 12 & under eat free (1 child per adult in party please) Whew... There's not a night left when making tracks to Jacks won't save you some hard-earned dough.

GT. HOUSATONIC, MASS.-The countdown is over! Spring has arrived. And it can mean only one thing!-Jacks is back! After a whole winter of dreaming up ideas for Jacks, this hip, wholehearted Housy eatery however may have hatched the half-baked marketing scheme of the year. According to our sources, Jacks will "provide a deal with every meal". While this has yet to be proven as hare-brained, Jacks is reportedly grabbing increased market share in the wake of the big Macano hiatus. Corporate raiders at Jacks are purported to have ogled the Housy mainstay, but then they remembered how much work it is to run one restaurant... When asked about the new marketing scheme, unnamed residents of the suburb just south of Housatonic known as Grape Barelyton commented, "Hub? Well. Maybe I'll go there then."
